I created this zine during a workshop I was invited to by Carole Morrison, Head Of Social Purpose at LCF. The workshop was about positionality, I chose the word humble because it is something that I intentionally wish to be embody in all spheres of my life. The zine is a reflection of my personal manifesto of practicing humility and how this can overflow into the classroom and beyond. I’ve been listening to Black Teacher, Beryl Gilroy on audio, an amazing read(listen) that delves into Beryls’ life and how her positionality influenced her teaching practices.
